Viewing Your Schedule
1. How to Access Your Calendar
-
Log in to your My Music Staff account.
-
Look at the main menu on the left-hand side of your screen.
-
Click on Calendar.
2. Changing the Calendar View
You can easily toggle how much of your schedule you see at once:
-
Switching Views: Click the view button (which usually says Month, Week, Day, or Timeline) located in the top-right toolbar directly above your calendar. Select your preferred layout from the drop-down menu.
-
Week View Options (Agenda vs. List):
-
Agenda shows empty gaps in your schedule so you can see your free time.
-
List shows your scheduled lessons back-to-back without the empty spaces.
-
-
Mobile View: If you are on a phone, you can switch the Month grid to a List view (which shows small dots on dates with lessons, and lists the details right below).
Invoices
If you are logging into the Student Portal to see what you owe your teacher:
-
Log in to the portal provided by your studio.
-
In the main menu on the left-hand side, click on Account & Invoices (or Billing/Account depending on your studio's custom setup).
-
Here you will see your overall account balance. To view individual invoices, click on the Invoices tab at the top.
-
Click the View icon (or the invoice number) next to the specific statement you want to see. This will open a downloadable/printable PDF copy.
🔍 Can't find a past invoice? Click the Search button under the Invoices tab and make sure your Archive Status is set to look for both "Active" and "Archived" invoices.
Message Your Teacher
Method A: Through the Practice Log (Best for lesson questions)
If your teacher has enabled this feature, you can send notes directly from your practice timer.
-
Log into your Student Portal.

Navigate to Practice Log on the left menu.
-
Click Add Time to log a practice session.
-
Type your message or question into the Notes box.

Check the box that says "Email notes to my teacher" (if available) and hit Save.
Method B: Direct Email
If your studio hasn't activated direct portal messaging, you will want to use the teacher's contact details listed right on your home screen:
-
Look at your Student Portal Home/Dashboard page.
-
Your teacher’s name and contact information are typically listed in the sidebar or under your upcoming schedule.
-
Click the email link provided to launch your device's email application.
