Honors Recital- Traditional Appalachian Music

High school aged students may participate in honors recitals to receive partial scholarships for lessons for the upcoming year. Tuesday March 24th will be the recital for Classical students and Thursday March 26th will be the recital for Traditional Appalachian Students

About the event
This will be an Adjudicated performance and the winner will receive a $500 scholarship towards music lessons at AFTA for the next year (August 2026-May-2027). Our Adjudicators for the Traditional Appalachian Music recitals will be Darren Nicholson and Cary Fridley.
