Group Ensembles

Suzuki Violin Class for 4-5 year olds!: Suzuki certified AFTA faculty member, Lori Hammel, teaches this new class for 4-5 year olds. Parental/caregiver involvement, encouragement and support are important aspects of this method as parents/caregivers assist their young children in learning a new instrument. In this developmental process children come to thrive in an environment of loving support from caregivers and their teacher. Students begin to develop self-discipline, concentration, a determination to try difficult things, and a sense of real accomplishment rewarded by self esteem and confidence. For more information, contact us.

Cello Choir: Led by members of our cello faculty, this ensemble meets twice a month to review Suzuki selections for books 1-6. For more information, contact us.

**Harp Studio Class Series: Join other harpists in wonderful music-making. Ensemble-learning reinforces skills taught in private study, including listening, rhythm, intonation, and sight-reading abilities. It also allows musicians to encourage and support one another in a stress-free environment. Separate classes are offered for youth and adults. For more scheduling and tuition information, contact us.

**Jamming Program: The AFTA Jamming Program provides students with the necessary tools and foundations for participation in traditional music groups. Participation is by instructor referral only. Students eligible for participation in the program will be contacted directly by the AFTA office. For scheduling and tuition information, contact us.
