Michael Hosford
low brass
Michael Hosford studied at Oberlin Conservatory and completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Trombone Performance at the Juilliard School, studying with Per Brevig (Metropolitan Opera) and Michael Powell (American Brass Quintet) respectively. He performed with such world-class ensembles as the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, the Metropolitan Opera orchestra, and for the Broadway productions of The King and I, 1776, Candide, Les Miserables, The Music Man, Parade, and The Lion King.

Bryan Kraak
trumpet
Bryan Kraak grew up in Black Mountain, NC. In 2012 Bryan moved to Chicago, where he later obtained his Bachelors of Music from DePaul University, studying with members of the Chicago Lyric Opera Orchestra and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. After his time at DePaul, Bryan attended the Eastman School of Music where he graduated with a Masters of Music in Performance and Literature.

Dylan Hannan
saxophone
Dylan grew up on the east coast of Florida, and attended the University of Central Florida where in addition to earning his degree in Jazz Studies, he also pursued a private study in theory/composition on piano, and learned to double on Clarinet and Flute. Dylan has performed with musicians such as John Alred, Veronica Swift, Dave Liebman, and Emmet Cohen, and the Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Ariana Varvaro
oboe
Ariana received her Bachelor’s in Oboe Performance at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. In 2022 she spent a short time at McGill University studying with Theodore Baskin. Additionally, she has studied privately with professionals such as Robert Weiner, Randall Ellis, and Gerard Schwarz. She has attended summer long classical music intensive festivals such as Eastern Summer Music Festival and Sewanee Summer Music Festival.
